Heatcraft Manufacturing Facilities

They say home is where the heart is. At Heatcraft, you could say we have two hearts: one, in Stone Mountain, Georgia; a suburb 20 miles east of Atlanta, and another in Tifton, Georgia, 150 miles south of Atlanta. We also have other warehousing facilities in Tifton, Georgia, and Eastvale, California. So that’s how Heatcraft is strategically positioned to get you our category-leading products and equipment to wherever you are in the U.S. How cool is that?

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products is headquartered just outside Atlanta, Georgia, in the friendly suburb of Stone Mountain. Our modern complex boasts 120,000 square feet of space, and hosts the heart of Heatcraft’s executive, marketing, and sales operations.

We like to say that “innovation happens here” in Stone Mountain: our R&D team, engineers, and fabricators custom-manufacture our products to the exact specifications of our customers nationwide. There simply is no other company with such vast expertise in research and development. That’s not boasting. That’s a fact.

In Tifton, Georgia, Heatcraft’s 560,000-square-foot manufacturing facility employs about 500 people from across south-central Georgia. Originally an independent Larkin plant, our Tifton facility teamed up with Heatcraft Refrigeration Products in 1990, under the Lennox International umbrella. As our tremendous growth continued, we proudly added a second building in 2008, which stands right next to the existing plant.

The state-of-the-art refrigeration and climate-control products that are manufactured in Tifton include standard and custom high- and low-side systems, ranging in every size. Some as small as a briefcase.Others as large as car! No matter what the size, every refrigeration unit is engineered and built to order for OEMs, distributors, wholesalers, and end-users in a Six Sigma–based manufacturing process that ensures superior quality, from design to delivery.

Founded in 1993, and filling 30,000 square feet of innovative laboratory space, The Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration Global Lab serves as our strategic resource for research, testing, and development of our proprietary commercial refrigeration equipment and climate-controls solutions. Complete with international testing capabilities, including both 50 and 60 Hz power, our lab has been UL Certified as a “Client Test Data Program” since 2008. And it’s one of the very few refrigeration solutions companies to operate its own on-site UL CTDP testing lab. Our inventors and innovators perform exhaustive systems testing, using real-world, environmental conditions. These exacting measures ensure every Heatcraft product is engineered to the highest standards, and satisfies all regulatory compliance measures, starting with product development, and lasting through product performance. All to keep our customers like you satisfied, starting at installation and running long into the future.

Communities

One of the Founding Fathers of Quality Management, Philip Crosby, once said,“Quality is the result of a carefully crafted cultural environment. It has to be THE fabric of the organization, not PART of the fabric.” At Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, we’re intentional about providing our customers with the highest-quality goods and services because we understand that quality always matters.

Because of our commitment to our customers, along with the demand for high-quality products and services, we created the Heatcraft Quality Council. The cross-functional team on the Council challenges us to continually drive the best products and customer services in the refrigeration industry, to the next level and beyond. We know that this responsibility doesn’t begin and end in our manufacturing facilities. It extends to all our customers, suppliers, and team members. Only by working together as partners can we meet our unwavering commitment to quality.

We encourage your feedback and invite you to Contact Us to keep us informed about how we’re doing, or how we can continuously improve the quality of our products and services.
