Energy-efficient systems and components

Heatcraft system improvement includes advances such as developing sophisticated controls and better frost handling. Improving components includes the use of
high-efficiency motors, new heat exchangers and alternative refrigerants.

Our goal is to develop energy-efficient, commercial refrigeration products that are available at a reasonable cost. We believe this is the best way we can benefit the entire industry and help protect the health of our environment.

As a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC®), we can offer our customers ways to obtain Leadership in Environmental Design (LEED®) credits. Installing Heatcraft Refrigeration equipment that meets USGBC efficiency and sustainability standards can help buildings qualify for LEED credits. Among the 13 environmental impact categories taken into consideration, such as climate change, indoor environmental quality, and resource depletion/water intake, many can be met through the use of E Solutions™-labeled Heatcraft refrigeration products.
