As Heatcraft continues to execute a “Roadmap to DOE Compliance” for 2019 – 2020, a number of questions surrounding Heatcraft’s new product availability, equipment compliance and release of information may be on customers’ minds. Heatcraft is actively preparing for the release of market leading products that ensure customers’ business continuity is not compromised due to the upcoming regulatory changes.
Heatcraft Product Information
An important step in preparing for impending DOE regulations beginning January 1, 2020, is supplying customers with timely data for new models to help them establish plans for their businesses as well. Heatcraft has been paving a path to compliant products that meet upcoming Annual Walk-In Energy Factor (AWEF) minimum efficiency standards since 2014.
To ensure customers will have the data they need to make the transition to DOE compliant products, Heatcraft will be releasing technical data and collateral for new medium and low temp condensing units and package unit models in Q3 of 2019. Technical data and collateral for affected unit coolers will be released in Q1 and Q2 of 2020.
