Heatcraft Announces Launch of Industrial Unit Coolers

New unit coolers address large cold storage and industrial refrigeration needs

Stone Mountain, GA, United States - March 1, 2016 - Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, a leading provider of commercial and industrial refrigeration components, systems and service solutions, introduces three Industrial Unit Cooler platforms. The Industrial Unit Coolers have capacities up to 50 tons and are ideal for large cold storage and process cooling applications, such as blast freezers and processing facilities. From extended air throw to gentle dual air discharge, the new unit coolers accommodate various air flow needs depending on the application.

Reliability and durability are built into each Heatcraft industrial unit cooler. Units are constructed with a mill finished G90 galvanized steel cabinet, 5/8” diameter aluminum finned/copper tube evaporator coils, premium efficient totally enclosed fan motors and a double wall insulated drain pan. Additional built-in features, such as hinged end-covers and fan panels, allow for easier maintenance and cleaning of these large units. Electric defrost heaters are inserted into the coil slab to provide efficient electric defrost.
