Heatcraft Scores Silver & Bronze ACHR News 2015 Dealer Design Awards

Stone Mountain, GA, July 20, 2015 – On the heels of winning the top Gold and Silver awards the last two years, Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration continues to build on a legacy of award winning products by receiving both Silver and Bronze awards for product design excellence in the 12th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. This year’s independent panel of contractors recognized the Heatcraft Direct Drive Fluid Coolers, FN Models, as the Silver Winner, while awarding the Heatcraft Slim Contour Electric Defrost Unit Cooler as the Bronze Winner; both in the Refrigeration and Ice Machines category.

The Heatcraft Direct Drive Fluid Cooler, FN models, are designed to reduce installation and maintenance costs, while providing excellent performance, long service life and a wide range of capacities. The fluid coolers are available in a wide range of sizes; from 1 to 12 fan configurations. Additionally, the FN models feature multiple motor options to provide reduced sound and energy consumption. Each model is available with multiple circuit options to provide the exact fluid cooler for specific requirements.

The Heatcraft Slim Contour electric defrost unit cooler, has an innovative, space-saving design that offers enhanced serviceability with removable motor cassettes for maximum medium and low temperature cooling performance for Foodservice, Convenience Store and Supermarket applications. At less than 11 inches from top to bottom, this unit cooler has a 30% reduction in height compared to traditional unit coolers in the market today, along with the integration of a unique new coil design, the Slim Contour electric defrost unit cooler uses up to 40% less refrigerant than standard unit coolers.
